Welcome to the Las Vegas Repo Bus! We have started this great service as a way for buyers to find some of the best deals in the foreclosure market.
Current Schedule:
- Saturday, February 23, 10:00am - southwest, west and northwest.
- Sunday, March 9, 12:00pm (noon) - south, southeast/Henderson.
- Future Saturdays or Sundays approximately every two weeks.
What will you see?
Our target home is one that is both a great value, and in good condition. We don't show you a handyman special or a fixer-upper, although on occasion we will include a cosmetic fixer-upper if we feel it is an absolute steal of a deal.
Who Should Go on this Tour?
We have three types of buyers we keep in mind when we select houses and run the tour. If you do not fit into one of these three categories, you are certainly welcome on the tour and if you let us know your specific needs we will try to address them. Sometimes one-on-one is the only way to address your specific needs, and we will work with you separate from the tour.
- First-time homebuyers - foreclosures are often priced at a point that has brought many first-time buyers back into the market. Just a couple years ago $225k would have typically bought a condo, or maybe a small townhome. Today we often find houses at this price point that used to be as high as $300k!
- Investors - we have just hit the point where many foreclosures can now break-even on cash-flow with as low as 10% down payment, though 15-20% down payment is often still necessary. These are not the "flip" investments people did in 2003 and 2004, but will make great long-term investments where the tenants ultimately help you pay off your mortgage in 20-30 years.
- Former homeowners sitting on the fence - many homeowners have sat out the current market, often having sold their home in the past couple years and renting during this time. You sold high, and now it is time to buy low!
